After 28 years of producing world-class campaigns, Gavin Schneider Productions is proud to launch our new website. As Cape Town’s premium production partner for international fashion, catalogue and lifestyle brands, this new platform celebrates the work we are proud of, the incredible clients we have partnered with and the unique culture of life on set in South Africa.

The website has been designed to give visitors a seamless experience, much like the productions we deliver. It brings together a portfolio of campaigns, the incredible brands we have collaborated with and a glimpse into the atmosphere that defines GSP. With decades of experience in production in Cape Town, it reflects our commitment to creativity, precision and client care.

Every campaign comes with its own challenges and triumphs. One that stands out is Louis Vuitton’s “The Journey” campaign, photographed by the iconic Annie Leibovitz and featuring Bono and Ali Hewson.
The project began in Kenya with aircraft sourced and locations scouted, but weeks before the shoot the region flooded. Our team swiftly relocated to Tswalu near the Botswana border, accommodating 30 people in a lodge designed for 15. Against the odds, the shoot was a success - a reminder that while every production is different, our role remains the same: to deliver world-class production services in Cape Town and to find solutions when challenges arise.

Cape Town continues to be one of the most diverse and cost-efficient production destinations in the world. From beaches and mountains to vibrant cityscapes, the variety of locations is unmatched.

What makes Gavin Schneider Productions unique is not just the backdrop, but the experience. For 28 years, we have built strong relationships with global clients, photographers, directors and crews. We pride ourselves on creating productions where everything runs seamlessly and our clients feel taken care of — both on set and while enjoying their time in Cape Town.

This new website is both a celebration of the last 28 years and the start of a new chapter. It is a place to showcase the campaigns that inspire us and a platform to share the exciting new stories that lie ahead.
