Year

Summer Season ’25 has officially begun and we are excited to share some early highlights from what already feels like a vibrant and promising start for Gavin Schneider Productions.

We kicked off our season with an incredible seven day TVC that carried our team across a variety of beautiful outdoor settings in and around Cape Town. The production combined sunrise call times, warm golden light, creative setups and a crew that worked with precision and good energy from beginning to end. One of the highlight days began with a safari scene at the crack of dawn and ended with a carefully planned hot air balloon scene in the winelands. The team also created an unforgettable sequence at the beautiful Inyoni Village where the styling, music and architecture came together to resemble an idyllic European village. The week was filled with plenty of laughter, long rewarding days and the unmistakable camaraderie that always defines a great GSP shoot.

Soon after wrapping this production, we welcomed several returning clients back to Cape Town. There is something truly special about working with teams who know the city, understand our workflow and trust us to bring their vision to life year after year. These familiar partnerships allow us to build on past seasons while continuing to refine locations, scouting styles and approaches that suit each brand’s evolving creative direction.

At the same time, we are preparing for a number of new international teams who will be joining us over the coming months. Our location scouts have been hard at work discovering fresh outdoor spaces and hidden gems that still surprise us. Cape Town’s diversity remains unmatched. Within a short distance you can find coastlines, vineyards, textured natural terrain and a variety of landscapes that allow productions to build entire story worlds without leaving the city.

As the season unfolds, our commitment remains constant. We strive to deliver world class service, seamless production support and an on set experience that feels both professional and warm. Your shoot days will most certainly include a traditional South African braai experience and, on the right evening, perhaps even a cocktail in hand while watching the sun set over one of Cape Town’s iconic beaches.

We look forward to welcoming both new and returning teams in the weeks ahead and continuing to showcase the creativity, landscapes and production excellence that make Cape Town one of the most inspiring places to shoot.
